It's About Who You Know
First off... Have a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day! Okay, now to the goods...
Some say that SUP is a fad. Whether it is or not, I like it. Actually, I love it. Especially when my wife asks me to go paddle. What I trip out on is, why it took so long to hit the masses. It feels like it was just yesterday that Laird Hamilton led the charge to put SUP on the wave riding map. Since then many new SUP starts up companies and SUP magazines have hit the market.
I've said it before, it's not just what you know but who you know. I have great news today! I, I mean 'WE', now know someone in the industry! Good friend and IB lifeguard, Mike Pilgrim, has been importing SUP boards for the past year or so and today we're going to sit down and figure out how to get you a Surf Craft Paddle Board on the cheap. Mixed Up
Today was one of those days when you look out to the waves and spend more time deciding whether to go out or not than just jumping in and going for it. I was on the brink of calling it a day. But after seeing a few couples paddle out, I pulled out my wetsuit and suited up.

Back From Paradise
It's been three days since I've returned from the North Shore of Oahu and I'm still organizing all the stuff I've unpacked. So give me a day or so to get back on track here. For now, take a look at one of the photos from the morning session before my flight back to the mainland. More goods to come!
