In fact, there's a company that offers a HD wide angle video camera that can fit in your shirt pocket AND it comes with it's own waterproof case. Go Pro has been around for a few years but it was just last year when they offered up the HD version to their standard definition camera. Get this... it's less than 300 bones!

Now that there's HD cameras that offer up to 1000 frames a second, who knows what we will be seeing on the big screen within a couple years.
